Venus Williams defeats Johanna Konta to reach 2017 Wimbledon final

Thirty-seven-year-old Grand Slam champ Venus Williams proved that age ain't nothing but a number after defeating 26-year-old Brit Johanna Konta in straight sets Thursday during the semi-final round at Wimbledon, 6-4, 6-2.

Commentators say the five-time Wimbledon winner and gold medalist is in top form and is favored to win her sixth Wimbledon title and eighth slam overall.

"It’s beautiful to be at all ages," said Williams in a post-match interview. "You have this infinity inside of you that makes you feel like you go on forever.”
